For vampire lovers:

If you are anything like my wife, then you were sad when you finished reading the fourth installment in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. You were lost in which direction to turn towards for your next big book, knowing full well that it would leave you unfulfilled compared to what Twilight did for you. Well, if that is you, then I am happy to tell you about something terrible that happened to Stephenie Meyer. "What a mean thing to say" you might think. Well, it is a bad thing for her or is it just another publicity stunt(I mean, I don't read the books, but here I am giving her free advertising)...plus, it's good for her readers. Did you know that she had actually started writing a fifth book titled "Midnight Sun?" Midnight Sun tells the story of twilight through the eyes of Edward (All girls/women rejoice...men can groan). Somehow a copy of the unfinished book ended up on the internet and here is a little blurb from her site explaining her options:

I'd rather my fans not read this version of Midnight Sun. It was only an incomplete draft; the writing is messy and flawed and full of mistakes. But how do I comment on this violation without driving more people to look for the illegal posting? It has taken me a while to decide how and if I could respond. But to end the confusion, I've decided to make the draft available here (at the end of this post). This way, my readers don't have to feel they have to make a sacrifice to stay honest. I hope this fragment gives you further insight into Edward's head and adds a new dimension to the Twilight story. That's what inspired me to write it in the first place.

So without further adieu, I give you the partial draft of the Midnight Sun. Start reading!
